When and where did the event take place?

TEDxKalamazooCollege 2015 took place in Dalton Auditorium in the Light Fine Arts building at Kalamazoo College. The live simulcast (with food!) was held in Dewing 103. The conference convened at 2:00 PM sharp, and finished at 6:30 PM.

Why did I have to apply to attend?

Because this was only our first year, our license allowed us a maximum of 100 audience members. In years to come, this number will grow, but for now we could only accept the top 100 applicants. The audience was made up of students, staff, faculty, and alumni, but priority was given to those students who demonstrated genuine interest in TEDx and the spreading of new ideas.

Did tickets cost money?

Nope! The event was 100% funded this year, which means you can finally buy that extra powerup in candy crush!

Will there be food?

A very good question indeed. Yes: not only were there refreshments, but they were locally and sustainbly sourced!

How do I tune in if I didn't get a seat?

The free livestream and live simulcast! Audience applications closed on April 28th, and we received over 200 applicants. While we wish we could have accomodated everyone, we were able to offer a live simulcast in Dewing 103.

We know, it's a lot to take in. Perhaps this page will help.
